About the artist

You may or may not care to know a little about me. I was born and raised in Winter Haven, FL. I graduated from Winter Haven High in 1992 and joined the U.S. Army as a Hawk Missle System Crew Member. Luckily for me that job was eliminated from the regular army & moved to the reserves, so I was forced to choose a new occupation. I chose to be a software analyst (computer programmer) for the military. A much better career choice. Not much need for a Hawk missle system crewmember outside of the military. After leaving the military I came back to Florida. I attended college and had several jobs before my current position at Publix Supermarkets.

My newest passion is wood turning. You can find more information by clicking on the link to the left. I also enjoy traveling, I have been slack in updating the photos section. I recently returned from my second trip to Ireland. Six or Seven years ago I started quilting, most of them I give away as gifts but, recently started doing custom projects, mostly t-shirt quilts, and have been able to put some of my others on here for sale. My interest in things like music and movies are too varied to list. I like everything, for example I have Ru Paul, Disturbed, Jimmy Buffet and Weezer on my IPod right now just to name a few.
